Find clear, direct answers regarding our coaching programmes, safeguarding policies for teenagers, scheduling rules, and bookshop purchases.
Who does The Bridge Family Coaching Ltd serve?
We serve three specific groups: (1) Parents of adolescents seeking help with their relationship and communication with their teenagers; (2) Teenagers, subject to strict parental consent and safeguarding rules; and (3) Singles and intending couples aged 23 and above preparing to build strong, value-driven homes.
What is identity-focused coaching?
Identity-focused coaching helps individuals and families anchor their behaviour, communication, and choices in clear personal identity and core values, rather than relying only on short-term surface rules.
Can a teenager book a coaching session directly without a parent?
No. Under our safeguarding and data-protection rules, any booking or coaching engagement involving a minor (under 18) requires verifiable parent or legal guardian consent.
Do I need to share detailed family medical or counselling histories on the booking form?
No. In compliance with data-minimisation principles and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, our website booking forms collect only essential contact and scheduling details. Please do not submit sensitive clinical or counselling histories via public forms.
How do I book, reschedule, or cancel an appointment?
You can view live available dates and time slots on our Booking page and reserve a slot directly. Appointments require at least 24 hours' advance notice and may be rescheduled or cancelled in accordance with our Booking and Cancellation Policy.
What currencies are displayed in the Bookshop and how are payments processed?
Our Bookshop displays book prices in both Nigerian Naira (NGN) and US Dollars (USD) where approved. Online payments are processed securely server-side via Paystack.
Is coaching a substitute for licensed psychotherapy, psychiatry, or legal advice?
No. Coaching at The Bridge Family Coaching Ltd is an educational, personal-development, and family-guidance service. It does not constitute clinical psychology, psychiatric treatment, medical diagnosis, or legal representation.
